On November 7, 2008, Microsoft will release Gears of War 2 for the XBOX 360. Without a doubt this game has been one of the most talked about, and sure to be one of the most popular games, of this holiday season. Ever since the first Gears of War, this combat action shooter has been wildly anticipated. The controls of this game are some of the best in any shooter game which is fantastic as the action is very frenetic at time.

For those who have not been a fan so far of the Gears of War franchise, it is a third person   by Epic Games for Microsoft Studios. It is an exclusive Microsoft title and can only be played on XBOX 360. The original Gears of War was finally released on the PC for the Windows operating system. To power the game’s considerable graphics and gameplay, it relies on a modified version of the Unreal 3 engine.

The game play revolves around COG Delta squad lead by Marcus Felix. Their goal is simply to stop the Locust Horde from destrying humanity and taking over the world. Gears of War 2 will allow the player to use those familiar weapons, and a few new ones, to continue on the goal of destroying the Lucust Horde before they wipe out humanity. Most player’s favorite weapon has been the machine, which is attached to a machine gun for both sawing your opponent and also shooting them. One of the new features of Gears of War 2 is the ability to use a downed opponent as a shield as you continue to shoot. Those that have seen previews of the game have enjoyed this new tactic available to the player. Violence has never been so much fun.

Multi-player action will be what keeps players coming back to the game long after the single player campaign has been completed. This will keep the game being played well into 2009 as there are numerous map packs, 15 at last count, that you will be able to do combat in. The multi-player option has numerous games that will keep players interested. Reports indicate that at least three new on-line multi-player modes, called “Guardian,” “Wingman,” and “Submission” will be available. Also included is the option for Co-op play.

Gears of War2 is a game that a lot of fans of the original will be looking forward to. The violence and action level has been raised. If you liked the first Gears, then you will like the second, as the gameplay has improved across the board. Xbox 360 cheats are becoming a must have when it comes to playing on Xbox Live. There are plenty of games out there that prevent cheaters from actually enacting the cheats, but I still see guys cheating all the time when I am online. All over in first-person shooters, sports games, and online adventure games. It is sick. I would think that cheating would take all the fun out of the game online for people, but I guess there are some weird people out there.

The graphics and sound effects that the video games have are cool and girls seem to be as attracted to them as men are. They are not afraid to tinker with the buttons or make mistakes, so long as they are learning.

Another factor is the financial stability. As girls hold paying jobs they can both afford to play video games, and deserve to as a stress reliever. However, be assured that there are times the practical nature would kick in and prefer for equipment far more essential to everyday chores before indulging in the cyber entertainment. This is a significant reason why more women are playing video games as it is one of the determinants of achievement.

The third major reason is that game development has focused a lot more on women than it used to. Lots of games focus on action and adventure, mostly they are set in the war field. There are a lot of women in the world (ha ha yeah 52%) so game developers are starting to see this large potential market, and so more games are being created for them. More games today are targeted at the female demographic with softer graphics and story-lines, even tho these games are also popular with many males.

Fourth reason is for entertainment, same as everybody else’s. Sewing, cooking and cleaning are no longer an area of “entertainment” for women, so their hobbies have grown along with the forwarding of technology. Don’t be surprised to find a woman with a gaming console during her free time. One good game for women is cheap phantom hourglass.

A fifth reason behind this females video game phenomena is that a lot of females like to be in direct competition with men. Although this competition is friendly, they take place and all try to get a high achievement and that achievement makes them winners.

When more girls play video games, there is now a point of interest shed between males and females that they can compete in. Apart from social benefits of women being able to play video games, the enjoyment probably outweighs any benefit by giving women a good avenue of expression and a place to vent their frustration. The character that you are playing and the side selected (Allianec or Horde) will determine how you level up in WoW. In this guide, I will give you tips on how to take your Human character from level 1 up to level 30 in the Alliance side. These tips may work for other races, but some quests will definitely require more information.

Getting Started

After setting up your game, you’re now on level 1, ready to get started. You will start at Elwynn Forest in the North Shire Glade. Take a trip on the forest and familiarize yourself with the place. You’re going to see some wolves running around.  Slay the wolves and keep doing it until reaching level three.

That was surprisingly easy, right?

While at level 3, this is the perfect opportunity to equip some new armor for yourself and also to repair any damage. This will come in handy later on. After doing this, you are now ready to begin your first real quest. “A Threat Within” and its follow-up “Kobold Camp Cleanup” are always the best quests to pick as your first quest. Upon completion of these quests, you can then take on two more quests, Eagen Peltskinner and Wolves Across the Border.

Grind some more wolves until you have picked up 8 Though Wolf Meat items and until you get to LEvel 4. Another option is grinding Kobold’s Vermins. Upon reaching level 4, turn in your quests and take what is offered to you next. Grind the Kobold Workers in the area to quickly go to level 5.

Complete the next seven quests to advance to level 7. They are all fairly easy and would not take at least a few hours for you to complete. Tip: grind everytime you can, this will help you go to a higher level.

Reaching level 30 from level 7 is just a simple procedure. Just take on all offered quests and turn them in to get the follow-ups. Tip: grind everytime you can, this will help you go to a higher level. But you’re gonna need some specific items to level up faster. To make things simpler, read this list.

These are the items that you must absolutely have

Level Six – North Shire Valley

Slay the Defias Thug and get 12 red burlap bandanas.

Find Gerrick Padfoot. Search for Gerrick Padfoot and loot his head by killing him.

Level Seven – Goldshire

Kill the Stonetusk Boars and obtain 4 pieces of meat.

Find Goldtooth. Loot the item called “Benice’s necklace” by killing him.

Level Eight – Goldshire

In the “Operation Recombobulation Quest,” you would need to find a special chest in the Gnome’s workshop. A special chest named Rumbleshot’s Ammo is there, find it. Take this crate.

Level 9 – Yeti Cave

To gather at least eight Wendigo’s Manes, you must grind the Yetis.

Return and find the gnomes. Begin grinding until you gather eight Restabilization Cogs and eight Gyromechanic Gears.

Level Ten

Look for Frosmane Hold. Kill everything you can see and search for the cave in the mountain above you. Upon going inside, you’ll see a basket of Shimmerweed. Find and take the basket.

These are the items you’re gonna need if you wanna level up a lot faster. Make sure you look for them in each level. Good Luck!
